WATCH: Stacey June (me) and Ben Jenkins elope in NYC!
Ben and I eloped in July of 2018. It was a hectic year and our elopement, as scary as it felt at times was the greatest decision of my life. 1. For marrying, waiting and attracting my ideal person and 2. For eloping so this ceremony and promise we made to each other would be about two of us.
I will do a post soon with linked info about how we eloped and what the in’s and outs are regarding logistics and outfits and hair and make up and the law etc etc. But for now - please enjoy the spectacular video my besties purchased for us for our gift (we had ZERO idea anyone was showing up to film) and at first, it was confronting considering the whole running away and escaping to get married thing, but now we are so grateful we have people who know us, love us and know what it is we need at times, when maybe we don’t.
